STORY ONE -QUETZAL JADE
1800s a few miles outside San Francisco Chinatown…..
Jade Li Song an orphaned American born Hui Chinese young woman. She grew up with a band of Native Ojibwa nomads Headed by a Shaman named Chief Quetzal Shadow Wing.
Jades parents (who were railroad workers) were killed by a “yellow scare” inspired mob of European Americans; when she was only 7 years old. Rescued by the Band of Ojibwa; Jade was eventually adopted by the shaman chief and given the tribal name Quetzal Jade.
