The Prehumans…an artistic and literary critique of human spirituality and its effects in resolving human conflict. In addition to this The Prehumans allow the reader to learn major historical events that have shaped th he human condition. Going far beyond the stereotypical comic book super stories, this work in reality is rooted in history and psychology, and the science of epigenetics. Epigenetics is the foundational pillar that the powers and abilities of the main characters stand. History sets the the stage for the main story archs within the miniseries.
The major conflicts between the main characters are based on how each character operate with their ideals and spiritual natures. The action and adventures of the story are mere by products of each characters level of spirituality and knowledge.
This passion project was born from years of historical and religious studies and how these subjects correlate with “modern science ” . Epigenetics as a school of thought bears witnesses that perceived reality and environment dictates the activation of human genes. This reality in essence is exaggerated by the powers and abilities of each character. The first Character introduced in the story King Shamballah was first created in the early 1990s as a rejected DC comics submission for an animated hero. Adding years of research, art study and life experiences to the character’s development gave rise to an independent literary universe..The world of the supernatural PREHUMNS!
Each character, group and scenario represents and aspect of the human mind. For instance King Shamballah represents the human quest for knowledge and self preservation.
The reflecting characters such as Wardance represents the human desire to be loved as well as a critical analysis of spiritual thought.
The Prehumans themselves are analyses of Religion, spirituality and human folklore. The existence of The Prehumans within this literary universe also represent the effects on spiritual development on human growth. The belief in a higher power is what has given rise to the greatest civilizations in human history. Empires such Al Andalusia, Egypt and Rome as well as America itself all have religious thought at their foundations. However man without faith or spiritual natures have historically shown to degenerate into beings without cause or purpose. However, on the other side of the coin when courrpted Religious thought can also give rise to evil empires such Nazi Germany. These aspects are expressed through Prehuman factions and the antagonists of this literary universe. The factions of the story were created for the readers to explore their own personalities and perspectives on life as well a tool to observe human relationships.
